Reject Inclusion of Hospice Under the Medicare Advantage Benefit Package

The Senate Finance Committee’s Chronic Care Working Group has issued an options paper that includes requiring Medicare Advantage (MA) plans to offer hospice services as part of the MA benefit package. This change would threaten patient/family choice of care provider in their final days of life and reduce the value of the hospice benefit to patients and their loved ones.
